What is Radio?

Radio is important because people can hear new music on it and people can hear the news.

Different genres of radio: pop radio (capital, radio 1), classical (radio 3, classic FM), rock  (planet rock).

Radio me and my family listen to. I don't listen to the radio, I use spotify. My family members listen to radio 1 just as background noise in the car.

How people listen to radio stations: radio's, phones, TV,  computers.

Public broadcasting includes radio, television and other electronic media outlets whose primary mission is public service. In much of the world, funding comes from the government.

Commercial broadcasting are TV and radio broadcasts privately owned by corporate media.

A local radio is a radio station what covers a specific area, for example Lincs FM covers the Lincolnshire area. It will appeal to the people It  that area because they can hear local news.
